It might hurt a little to pay this much for a baking pan when others are available so much cheaper. But Nordic Ware is one of those brand names that is worth the investment. To use the impostors means you give up on quality. This one produces even browning and a quality cake every time. It takes some extra effort to clean the indentations thoroughly, but that's a function of the chrysanthemum design.

Just unmolded my first cake with the mum pan, and I am SO impressed. I don't have access to Baker's Joy, so I was careful to brush soft butter into all the corners before dusting with cocoa (I made Gourmet's Chocolate Whiskey cake). I cooled the cake for the stated 2 hours, and it came out with every single detail intact.I have a feeling this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

Zap the grill with cooking spray and cover 4-5 strips of bacon with a paper towel, perfection once you get the timing down. Don't skip the cooking spray step or you'll have trouble cleaning it, you've been warned.

I got this pan to make mini pumpkins for my sons' birthdays at school instead of the usual cupcake. They came out great!

I had the previous round tray and it was much heavier and it stained easily. This one is lighter weight and very easy clean up in between grooves. Im glad I bought it.

I used this item twice and put it away and haven't wanted to use it again. A paper plate lined with paper towels is much easier to clean up and the bacon cooks much faster and more evenly. Not only do you have to scrub the bacon grill, you have to wash the cover as well. Too much work.

All of the Platinum Collection pans come with a limited lifetime warranty but these pans are so durable that I doubt you will ever use it. I had this same pan that I bought from W@lm@rt for much less and I was disappointed with it from the start. It always stuck and seemed to bake uneven. So I went online, did some research and found out that Nordicware makes the same pans in different qualities. I had bought a cheap one. I ordered a Platinum from Amazon and I've not regretted it once. I have used this pan for muffins at least 50 times and I've never lost a batch to uneven baking or sticking. I have since ordered them as gifts.

Worth the extra money. This one is a keeper. Don't waiste money or more expensive ones. This one will last though hundreds of cakes.

I returned this item and purchased a Nordic Ware Original Bundt Pan which is heavier in construction weight.

Great for monkey breads, both savory and sweet.Much easier to make and bake using a bundt pan than traditional cake-cooking methods for my purposes.Greasing and flouring the pan properly is the trick. Rather than use spray-oils with flour, I use butter with my fingers. Then dust-coat using AP flour. Okay, I admit it, I own many different styles of these pans -- I am attracted to the various designs and high quality. Initially I was shocked at the price tag but as is often the case, you get what you pay for. Properly cared for, this pan will last a lifetime. The pan is particularly lovely because of the three different flowers -- rose, sunflower and daisy. These cakes are welcome during any Springtime or Easter holiday gathering.Pan preparation is important so don't skip this step. Spray Baker's Joy (plain cooking spray won't do) liberally in the pan to capture all details, then turn the pan upside down over paper towels to drain while you prepare the cake. Also, the thicker the cake batter the more detail you will achieve - so if using a cake mix alter it (many recipes are available on the internet in search engines - bundt recipe using cake mix, etc.) The cake detailing is just lovely and once cool, just a light dusting of powdered sugar will finish off the cake. Lighter batters show off the details more clearly -- white, yellow and spice cake. And, be sure to let the cake cool upright in the pan for 10 minutes before unmolding. Do not use any metal utensils or harsh scouring pads on the pan.

Nordic Ware baking pans are very pretty and of high quality. I own quite a few pieces by Nordic Ware. The first one was an accident buy and became hooked with this brand. For the pans that have designs such as this one, I use a brush for easy cleaning. I don't use them just for baking but for gelatin molds, ice molds, and a variety of food that can be mold into these beautiful designs pans.

I used this pan last night to bake lasagna. It works very good and I love that with the leftovers I just have to put the cover on. Highly recommend!!

This pan looked great when we got it. We used it once and put it in the dishwasher (it says dishwasher safe) and it looks horrible now. Like it oxidized or something. We have a Bosch dishwasher and use palmolive eco detergent, so it's not like we bleached it or something. Very disappointed.

I just got this pan and I love that it is a nice heavy duty one with a easy on/off Cover for storage! It is just a tad smaller than a true measurement of 9X13 pan but that is what I like about it, because if anyone has noticed they have cut down the weight or amount of the cake mixes so when you go to bake a cake the cake doesn't fill up the old pans like they use to years ago! I can finally throw my old pan away and be happy I did! Yep measure your old pan and then measure the new ones they all are 9X13 just not quite the same... Maybe I have to throw my old Tape measure away too??? Maybe they changed the box cake mixes so they don't raise like they did years ago who knows. I just know you have to use 2 to fill the old cake pans! Well I just thought everyone would like to know this new pan is very nice to have.

Good product not your typical department store flimsy item. It is worth the extra money.

I own several Nordic ware baking pans and I have been very pleased with their nonstick interior. Unfortunately can not say the same about this pan. When i first baked using this pan I had trouble getting the cakes out of the pan (especially from the rose cavities), I blamed myself for not greasing the pan properly. But the same happened the second time when I made sure that the pan was greased well...so, i am returning this itemI am still giving this pan 2 stars because it bakes evenly.

These are heavy-duty cast aluminum pans. The pan is very heavy and has a non-stick finish, six cavities in three different flower shapes: rose, daisy and sunflower.Each cavity has a 1 cup capacity. I have had good results by filling with 1/2 C of batter. As it bakes, the batter will rise and fill the remaining space in the cavity. If you overfill, the bottoms will rise up and be rounded so they won't sit level(though you can also use a cake leveler to trim the bottoms flat to the pan before turning the cakes out- they sell these but I use a very fine gauge stainless steel wire which has each end wrapped around a 3-inch wooden dowel). I have several styles of these pans- love Nordic Ware cast pans. They will last forever if properly cared for and is an easy way to take your baking up a notch without really having to do anything special. I have used cake, cupcake, quick bread and muffin recipes in these pans. I have never had anything stick. Just like with a larger pan, all I do is coat thoroughly using a non-stick spray like Pam. I do not flour the pan.For quick breads, I use Cook's Illustrated's recipes- the yogurt in them makes the cakes very moist. I get about 8-9 of these mini cakes out of a recipe that would normally make one regular loaf. I usually double or triple the recipe if I am making these for an event. If they are just for home consumption, often I will do one pans worth of individual cakes and then a pan of mini muffins or a few jumbo muffins. In terms of baking time, I start checking for doneness at about half the time called for in the recipe. In my oven, they usually take about 20-25 minutes to bake up. These heavy duty pans will leave a nice finish on whatever you bake in them. I like that the outside gets a tiny bit crispy without being hard and dry- I feel like it seals in the air and moisture which is why everyone I make these for loves them. I have also used pound cake, shortcake, and cupcake recipes in these. You have to watch the time because these do bake differently than just cupcakes or a whole loaf. Do make sure you wash thoroughly in between uses. I soak my pans for a bit and then use a soft brush to get into the nooks and crannies- they wash up very easily that way. Everyone loves these- even without any frosting- just because the shapes are so unique and it is a treat to have your own individual cake. They look lovely with glaze over them and you can also get a little crazy and fill in the details with colored frosting, using the impressions as a guide. My kids adore these and will eat anything that comes out of them- even bran muffins or zucchini bread. Another reviewer commented on the price- I was able to get mine using the 4-for-3 promotion which cuts down the cost a bit. I would have been willing to pay full price because I imagine these will be handed down through the family for a good couple of generations at least.

This thing is the perfect size for my microwave, the bacon comes out crispy and not all wrinkled up, I just put a paper towel over the bacon and it doesn't splatter, and the grill cleans up easily in the dishwasher. I had one that was ceramic and a little smaller, but it got dropped one too many times. This is hard plastic, so probably not likely to shatter.

It is SO hard to find a round bacon tray! My mom would complain everytime she used the square one because it wouldn't rotate and hit the walls. She even went as far as filing down the corners, and it still didn't work. When I saw this I got it (and the microwave plate cover which goes nicely with this) and she is SO happy! No more complaining! ; )

This is my third unit. First two just wore out, Am happy with this third one, and the service I received from Amazon. Price was also a consideration.

The seller of this device sent me a defective product. It even had a tag attached stating it was a return from a previous customer. Thumbs down to this seller. I sent it back to the original seller and purchased a new one from Amazon and they sent me one that works just fine.

I have made several batches of cakes & shortcakes and the basket definition does not come out on the cakes. You can't even tell that it is a basket which is disappointing to me since the picture on the advertisement of this pan is so cute. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I love the ease of baking with Nordic pans, and this berry basket pan is easy to use and very pretty for baking both sweet and savory baked goods. I am going to get another one for a friend who also loves to bake.

Wish I had purchased this pan years ago - so frustrated with my old Bundt pan, leaving chunks of cake behind when turning the cake out; difficult to wash...this one is perfect - no problems getting the entire cake out, SO easy to clean!! I'll be baking more often, now :)

I was hesitant with the one star review but bought this product to try it out, besides it was made in the USA, Hurray! My recipe stated to grease (Crisco) the pan and flour. It slid right out with out a problems looks awesome. I don't know if the others used oil and if this would have made a difference verses Crisco. One things for sure I love this product and would recommend it! A beginner.

This is a great little pan for making individual shortcakes. The recipe that is attached to the pan is absolutely wonderful. Just make sure you grease the pan liberally or they will stick. My only complaint is the basket detail show in the picture is not what the final product looks like at all. I even tried to overbake the last time for more browning, but still does not look like a basket.

I used this pan for the first time today - I almost forgot I had it until my boyfriend brought over some strawberries and suggested shortcake. The pan came with a recipe but I already had a white cake mix I wanted to use up. I checked everywhere on-line for tips on using the pan with a mix but to no avail. Here's what happened. I baked the first batch at 350 degrees for 21 minutes - a little overdone, but edible. I put a little too much batter and it ran over the top. As suggested here, I used ALOT of floured cooking spray and they popped right out of the pan, but they didn't look much like the picture. The second batch, I used regular cooking spray and didn't put as much batter in, and only left them in for 19 minutes. They came out much better, but still the shape left a little to be desired. I think if I bang the pan down on the counter a couple of times to get rid of the air pockets, they will probably come out much better shape-wise. All in all, I'm please with the pan and hope my review helps others in my situation.

The product was supposed to rotate when something was placed on it. When something light was placed on it, it did not rotate at all. When something heavier was placed on it, it would rotate for about 5 seconds then stopped. The product was tested when it was fully wound but not over wound.

This is the first time we have bought this item on line. We have purchased 3 in all and I think they break too early. They seem to last about a year or a little more, they just stop working.

Great item for older microwaves. Would recommend for any use that needs to rotate. Weight sensitivity is also another great feature

I saw this bundt pan at my mother-in-law's, but couldn't find it in any store. I serched online and Amazon had it at the best price. It arrived quickly and was as advertised. Great pan and I made a beautiful pound cake for my family using it!

i decided to buy this pan for the rose shape,then made 3 for a luncheon..all 3 were just dusted with powder sugar before serving and they wowed a tough crowd! i love this pan more then the chrysanthum or the daisy..roses is the way to go.. ive also made it with yellow cake and added strawberries in the middle with whip cream.a lovely display..

Regarding the problems some reviewers have experienced with cakes sticking to the pan two things are usually at fault -- proper preparation of the pan before baking, and not allowing time for the cake to rest upright in the pan on a cooling rack after removing it from the oven. Unmolding the pan is the best part, so we all are anxious to see the end result, but if the cake isn't allowed to rest for 10-15 minutes, it may stick and/or fall apart. It is too hot and fragile to hold completely together, so wait to unmold, at least 10 but no more than 15 minutes. I think the

This lemon loaf pan creates a gorgeous finished product with little effort. My pineapple Upside Down Mini Cake Pan came in just a couple of days. It is very detailed in its pineapple shape and will be great for entertaining. And it even came with a recipe. I am trying it out tonight!

Usually Nordicware cake pans look as good as the finished product -- you can visualize the end result, but this pan is the exception. By itself, the pan is rather unattractive but once the butter, brown sugar, pineapple slice and cherry are added to the bottom of each individual compartment, the little cakes come to life. These look so great on a large platter whether for a special treat to liven up a boring week or for a full-blown party. I spray the pan with Baker's Joy -- a cooking spray made for baking that contains a little flour. And, if the cakes puff up too much during baking, just take a bread knife and cut them straight across the top (will be the bottom) after they've cooled for ten minutes or so while they are still in the pan. Then they will sit perfectly flat on the plate when inverted and removed from the pan. With a little care the pans will last a life-time, just avoid using metal utensils or harsh scrub pads on the pan. These cakes are so easy to make and yet look so detailed they look like you baked for hours. The cakes even work well on a Christmas buffet -- just alternate red and green cherries for the centers and they will fit right in with the holiday theme.

Ok, so I ordered one of these pans and it came scratched. I was sent a new one and that one was scratched too. It seemed as though they were damaged during the making of this product, because the scratches were underneth the cast iron coating or whatever its finished with. I figured thaat they were all probobly like that so I decided to just keep it. For the price, I wish it were a little better made. However, it hasnt effected the use in anyway.Other than that, these make the CUTEST mini pinapple upside down cakse!I buy pineapple cake mix in a box and use that as the main cake. I melt butter and put it at the bottom of the pan along with brown sugar. I put a pineapple ring on the bottom and then ad a marachino cherry in the center of the pineapple ring and then pour the cake batter on top and cook. These are so good and my kids just LOVE them.

Awesome pan, very heavy, great quality! The cakes slide out easily with just a little Pam prepping. No need to grease them. We made 50 cakes for a Tiki themed baby shower that we threw. With all that practice, we found that if you fill it a little fuller than the instructions say you will get a better result. We also added more sugar and butter than recommended. The cakes were a hit and everyone got a kick out of them actually being in the shape of a pineapple. Very original. I am so glad I bought this pan....I really wish I would have bought two!BUY THIS PAN...you won't regret it.

I ordered this item for a Christmas gift. I was afraid that I wouldn't receive it on time but I received it the day that I planned on giving it to my sister-in-law. She really wanted this pan and was delighted to get it as a gift. Great service. I would definately order from this vendor again!

Update: I have been using this pan for a couple of months now. It is still lovely, but functionally it leaves something to be desired. My last two cakes have been an utter disaster - stuck to the pan and were a crumbled mess. The first time I assumed that I did not adequately spray and flour the pan or that maybe the recipe was off. Took great care the second time and had the same mess. I hand wash the pan and it is not exposed to any treatment that should affect the surface coating. I no longer recommend this pan. I finally had a brain wave and searched for it on Amazon where I buy most everything else. (Overlook the obvious every time.)After looking at a lot of pans, from cheap to expensive, I settled on this one. It had a few reviews but they seemed solid and quite positive. I liked the fact that the pan was Nordic Ware - have been pleased with their products in the past, and that it was aluminum which should last forever. (With proper care.)I loved the look of the pan, but was concerned that there would be more issues with cake adhesion given the detail in the form. When the pan arrived it was a bit lighter than I thought it would be and was definitely smaller in diameter than my older Bundt pans. I was concerned that it would not hold all the batter from a typical recipe/mix. I mixed up my first cake, greased and lightly floured the mold and poured the batter in. The form easily held the entire batch. The cake baked up perfectly and came out of the mold easily. The presentation was outstanding. I hated to put any frosting on the cake at all, so I just lightly drizzled it with icing. The dessert debuted to rave reviews for both appearance and taste. (Okay - it was just the husband and kids - but still - raves!) There was very little cake residue in the pan and clean up with a sponge and soap was easy. This is my favorite pan for pound cakes and fruit cakes. The only trouble I've had is that the crust of the cake sticks slightly, be sure to grease and flour the pan generously (or use lots of one of the spray + flour products) -- use more than you think you'll need. It never seems to unmould 100% flawlessly, but with plenty of grease & flour the sticking will be so minimal as to be almost unnoticeable.

This pan makes such a pretty cake you can't believe it's homemade. It looks like something from a bakery. Not only does it make a beautiful cake but it's easy to remove (as long as you grease the pan well). It's also a heavy weight pan so it should last forever if you take care of it. Cleaning it was a breeze, just some warm soapy water and a sponge and it's clean. Nordicware makes great bakeware!!

I noticed the 1st review of this item was from the same town where I live. Small world! This pan has a wonderful design, and it's quality is unsurpassed. I bake a lot, but around the holiday's it's a fun change of pace from the regular molds. Enjoy!

I bought this item a while ago. It was only used a couple of times and the base started cracking before becoming 100% useless. I threw it away. Pass this one by.

I also had problems with this cake keeper. I work in a school and carry cakes to the faculty frequently. The problem started with a crack in the base, which I solved with some tape. One day I walked in the teacher's lounge and the cover was in 2 pieces (obviously dropped). Not what one would expect for around $20.00.

We have a castle-shaped Bundt cake pan and I needed a way to transport the completed, decorated cake to a party an hour away.This is a perfect fit, and is a convenient place to store the cooled cake before decorating it. (No need to mess with -- and waste -- foil or plastic wrap.)I've read some of the other reviews concerning its fragility. It seems pretty sturdy to me, but the instructions do recommend handling it carefully -- hand wash, and use a soft towel to dry it so the plastic won't get scratched (it really is crystal clear and looks great). Mine arrived in perfect condition.I will post again if it doesn't survive an adequate number of uses.++++++++It's been a little over a half-a-year now, and it's still going strong.

While this product is a perfect size for storing a cake, it is not good quality. The base of the cake keeper began cracking after only a few uses. The crack quickly grew larger, and I had to throw it out. Don't waste your money.

Whether you have boys or girls, whether you're a pro or not, this is just the greatest pan ! I gave it as a gift to a dear friend who has made an outrageous edible Christmas display; she's used them for kids B'day partys, and even used 'em to hold place cards at a dinner for a grown man who loves trains.Each time, the different colours and settings created a different gift altogether.She did mention they MUST be liberally sprayed with PAM and dusted so as not to stick...but they are gorgeous and good over and over again.A must for a baker's collection of tricks !

Comes out perfectly if you fill a little less than 3/4 up to the line- tap before putting in the oven (not after)- just used butter to grease pan- no flour- recipe on the pan was great. I would try a gingerbread one to do a polar express train. We used M&M's, icing, snow caps for coal and tootsie rolls for logs and twizzlers for tracks (my son was turning 2 so i did the tracks in the shape of a 2). I would try shoestring licorice if I could find it. I'd like to try it in Jello too. I can see it being used for many years with two little boys.

I've made white cake, gingerbread and banana bread in this pan. Tap the pan on the counter. Use the spatula to push the batter into all the details. It'll make a kind of 'skin' which keeps the details when the batter rises. Enjoy it!

I got this cake mold to make a cake for my nephew, who loves trains more than life itself. I was very pleased with how heavy and durable the pan is. It's sort of easy to use, but I had to have a practice run before making a cake that looked decent. My advice: (1) don't use flour to dust the pan like the instructions suggest. I am pleased with this microwave popcorn popper. It was a bit of trial and error to get the correct quantity of popcorn and timing for my microwave, but now that I have figured that out, the results are consistent. I needed a lot more time than the 2 to 4 minutes suggested by the manufacturer. I use 1/3 cup kernels and 1 or 2 sprays of Pam, and microwave on high 5min 20sec. Very pleased with the tasty, low calorie result.

I have used this item for nearly a year now and has worked very well. The top has warped a bit but I only use the item every day. So if you need a no fuss air popper then you can't go wrong with this.

I use this almost everyday. Great! I use a little olive oil and popcorn seed and an instant snack that's not loaded with the bad ingredients that microwave popcorn can hold. I have purchased this for friends and relatives too!

I bought this for my husband because he loves popcorn but we don't want all the oil that comes in prepackaged popcorn. This popper works great...it's almost too good to be true. Sturdy, easy to use, and doubles as your popcorn bowl.

The first shipment was broken (plastic with no packing material + really cold day = broken item) but the company was awesome about taking care of it. (One of the best customer service departments I've ever dealt with, in fact!) Once I got the unbroken popper, I tried it out right away, and have been using it several times a week since! I do plan on using my Whirley Pop still, but I like this popper because you don't have to use any oil with it. I just throw about 1/3 C of popcorn in it and it pops most of the kernels in about 3 and a half minutes in my microwave. (As other reviewers have noted, you have to pay attention to find the optimal time in your microwave, or the popcorn will burn.) Then I add butter and/or salt or sometimes just eat it plain, for a healthier snack. Also, given my good experience with the company, I would definitely order from them again.

These pans are a terrific addition to a baker's kitchen. Easy to use, easy clean-up. Non-stick for sure! I used them instead of a big bundt pan to make individual cakes. Perfect for the holidays! If your cake normally takes about an hour, plan to bake in these small pans for 15 or so mins. I was able to get ~36 individual cakes from one recipe.

I have this set, and in less than a month the teflon began flaking off.I do not use scrubbies just a sponge and dish liquid. As soon as the teflon began to flak off the product started to rust.I received this as a gift and felt so bad when the person that gave them to me saw what had happened. He felt very bad. Shame on Nordic Ware they usually have a fair product for the money.Bella

The 3-peice baking set was ideal. I have relly used the one with the wire rack. I have broiled on it several times. I just have to remember to stay the rack with cooking spray of the food will stick.

While a little small, this 3 piece set makes several common toaster oven tasks such as baking biscuits easier. The Teflon coating make melted cheese and Italian Bread pizza neat and easy to clean up after wards. Most of the time, a toaster oven us used to make toast, but the stacking design make storage easy.

I read the reviews before I purchased this product and decided to go for it. Well, the size is smaller than you can imagine, but it fits in my toaster oven just fine and is a breeze to clean up. Just bought another baking dish at the store today and paid as much for this as I paid for the whole set here on Amazon. They won't hold up under extreme use (I have many hungry young men here)but can be used daily without worry. I even used my broiler pan and it came out fine. Don't believe all of the negative reviews you may read, it is worth the money.

These pans are great. I love the lids because they are high enough to fit over my rolls and cinnamon rolls. I bought another set because I use them so much. Great wedding gift.

I had mine for a couple of years maybe, maybe less and being cautious not to use sharp objects and hand washing, for no apparent reason the teflon started to flake off...not a quality product to last and who wants to injest teflon. It's now a drip pan for my Weber propane grill...

The covers are a great addition, and have been useful to have.We bought a Silpat sheet and a cookie scoop to go with them. The wife was very pleased, and I scored some major brownie points! I had purchased a package of these trays with lids many years ago. Several times throughout the years, I have looked for them to purchase as gifts without success. Needless to say, I was thrilled to find them available on Amazon. I love these trays and the durable lids that go with them. It is wonderful to have lids to protect your goodies. Only used this item two times. First use with recipe provided, worked great. Second use, used a regular cake mix, had to throw the hole thing in the garbage. The recipe they provide doesn't taste that good but apparently is the only way you can get the cake out of the pan. A regular cake mix just sticks to the pan and makes a horrible mess.

Ebelskivers are just as much fun to make as they are to eat! No kidding. The first cooking may be a bit intimidating, only because you think you will make a huge mess, but these are fun and tasty treats. There are lots and lots of recipes online and the fillings are endless. Not only that, they keep well in the fridge if you have any left. I've used lemon curd as well as small cubes of a high end gouda-type cheese with both results outstanding. You, your family and friends will truly enjoy discovering these little Danish treats. Don't buy another pan other than the Nordic non-stick pan! It takes very little butter regardless of the amount called for in recipes. Truly, give this a try -- you won't regret it! This is not your classic heavy cast iron skillet. It's very light weight & not as durable as the classic ebelskiver pans i recall, but works just as well.

This is a very well made product, the non-stick coating allows you to turn the ebleskivers easily. I used chopsticks and it was effortless. The skirt around the pan helps hold in heat and distribute it evenly. Good buy!My husbands family is Danish and he grew up eating ebleskivers. Ebleskivers are basically Danish pancakes, I have used Bisquick and an egg to make them in a hurry; the recipe below is the traditional way, both were delicious.DANISH EBELSKIVER - [...].2 c. buttermilk2 c. flour3 eggs, separated1 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. salt1 tsp. soda2 tsp. sugarBeat egg yolks. Add sugar, salt and buttermilk. Then add soda and baking powder. Fold in beaten egg whites. Grease Ebelskiver iron and fill cups half full (1/2 teaspoon or so of applesauce can be put on top and then that needs to be covered with a little more batter). Cook and turn. We purchased this pan because friends of ours made aebelskivers for us when we were visiting them recently. We thought they were a good change from regular pancakes. The fact that you can use them in other ways than just pancakes was great. We were a little concerned because our friends have a gas range and ours is a glass top, but it worked just fine.

I bought this pan last year and just used it for the first time this morning and am very disappointed in the quality of the nonstick surface. While cleaning the pan with a cotton dishcloth (yes, cotton!!!), the nonstick surface started to scrape off where butter had come in contact with the top surface of the pan, right next to the wells. We all know the nonstick surface chemicals are dangerous when ingested, so when I asked Amazon for a refund, they said I was past the one month window for returns. This is excellent bakeware. My mother bought this bundt pan first and I borrowed hers. My cakes turned out perfect. So I keep borrowing her bundt pan and finally I had to buy my own so that we both could bake at the same time. This is the best bundt pan ever. I love it!

This is an excellent and very cute looking baking pan! It bakes evenly and does not cause any sticking (just warm the pan by pouring hot water over it or placing for a minute or so in the oven, then grease it well with butter). This is a 6-cap capacity pan, so it holds the same volume of batter as Nordic Ware Lemon Loaf or Nordic Ware Pumpkin Loaf Pan, but it is a couple of inches longer and produces nicer rounded slices. The recipe which comes with the pan is great and almost identical to the Banana bread recipe from The New Best Recipe: All-New Edition. The relief on the top also helps to slice the baked loaf evenly.

Have only used this pan twice so far, but cakes have come out perfectly brown and slip out easily from pan. Clean-up is a snap, too.

Nordic makes a very sturdy cake pan, and this one is no exception. The castle design is great, and (provided you use non-stick spray with flour in it) cakes come out perfect. My only wish is that it came with more recipes (you only get one on the label). But the pan itself is a terrific!

I have used the rosette cake pan only once but I am very pleased. The pan is very heavy duty and the cakes did not stick. The event I ordered the pan for is not going to happen but I'm still pleased I made this purchase. I will use this for many years and it will probably out last my baking days then my children will hopefully use it. I bought this as a gift for my sister who is the guru of making every type of cupcake imaginable. I couldn't decide on a bundt pan shape for her. This pan worked out fantastic because it has all three popular bundt shapes in one pan. I have 2 different sets of these and love them for muffins. Make sure you use the spray flour pan coating and cool them for 10 minutes before removing, sometimes I have to shake out a couple that do not come out on there own. I was told by an experienced baker not to wash my baking pans with soap if I did not have too. I find over the years this was good advice and have not had any problems. Nordic Ware's Platinum Collection really deserves the platinum rating. These are heavy-duty cast aluminum pans. This pan in particular turns out lovely mini bundt cakes. I use them for quick breads like chocolate banana and zucchini raisin bread. This pan has three different styles of bundts in miniature: Cathedral, Fleur de Lis and Bavaria. Each cavity has a 1 cup capacity. I have had good results by filling with 1/2 C of batter. As it bakes, the batter will rise and fill the remaining space in the cavity. If you overfill, the bottoms will rise up and be rounded so they won't sit level(though you can also use a cake leveler to trim the bottoms flat to the pan before turning the cakes out- they sell these but I use a very fine gauge stainless steel wire which has each end wrapped around a 3-inch wooden dowel).For quick breads, I use Cook's Illustrated's recipes- the yogurt in them makes the cakes very moist. I get about 8-9 of these mini bundts out of a recipe that would normally make one regular loaf. I usually double or triple the recipe if I am making these for an event. If they are just for home consumption, often I will do one pans worth of individual bundts and then a pan of mini muffins or a few jumbo muffins.In terms of baking time, I start checking for doneness at about half the time called for in the recipe. In my oven, they usually take about 20-25 minutes to bake up. These heavy duty pans will leave a nice finish on whatever you bake in them. I like that the outside gets a tiny bit crispy without being hard and dry- I feel like it seals in the air and moisture which is why everyone I make these for loves them.I have also used pound cake, shortcake, and cupcake recipes in these. You have to watch the time because these do bake differently than just cupcakes or a whole loaf. As far as getting the bundts out of the pan- never a problem for me and all I do is put the pan in my sink and thoroughly spray the cavities with Pam or a similar cooking spray. I do not grease and flour- just use the spray and have NEVER had any stick. Do make sure you wash thoroughly in between uses. I soak my pans for a bit and then use a soft brush to get into the nooks and crannies- they wash up very easily that way.A final note- shortcake is fabulous in these pans and then when they are done, fill the center of the bundt with fruit, drizzle sauce over the top and garnish with whipped cream- absolutely fabulous strawberry shortcake! I get tons of compliments on these and the kids love them because they are so elegant and also BIG!

This is a great all-purpose pan. It is not flimsy at all. I have baked several batches of cookies on it, along with the matching size Silpat, and it worked really well. I searched for a sheet pan that would meet my criteria: aluminum or stainless, NOT nonstick, made in the USA, and sturdy enough to last me at least 20 years, hopefully more. I didn't buy this with the intention of using it for cookies, only for making sheet cakes, but one day I ran out of room on my Williams-Sonoma flat cookie sheets and used this for the last batch. It outperformed my WS baking sheets by a mile! I paid twice as much per sheet for the WS pans, and after only 1 year of use they don't look so new anymore. This pan is amazing. I used it for sugar cookies today, and since I only have one I had to use one of the WS pans as well. I covered both sheets with parchment paper like the recipe called for, and the Nordic Ware went in the oven first. When they came out the bottoms were lightly browned, the cookies perfectly done. I took the second sheet out (the WS) after the same amount of time, and although the tops looked good, the bottoms were too brown. I would not have believed that a ten dollar pan (I found these for less at my local grocery store) could outperform what I thought was the best baking sheet I could find, but the Nordic Ware kicks butt! I like this so much that I plan to buy two more of them and use them as my go-to cookie sheets. They are also fantastic for baking french fries if you put a cooling rack inside, so the fries don't have to lie in their own grease. Easy to clean up and lightweight yet sturdy. You can use them to roast other fruits and veggies as well, like squash, cherry tomatoes, and even sweet potato fries. And of course, they are great sheet pans. I love this company. I plan to buy one of their bundt pans, too. Excellent value and made in America!

I have not heard of anyone who is successful in getting chocolates out of this mold. No amount of banging, freezing, vegetable spray, or butter seems to work. I even wrote to Nordic Ware and they have no advice. It may be OK for Tea Cakes but does not work for chocolate.

I didn't realize this was considered a candy mold also but I can certainly see why it would ill-suited for that purpose. As a mini bundt cake pan though, it seems perfect to me. I've made Mexican chocolate cake (from The Pastry Queen cookbook) dusted with X sugar and they looked perfect. I've also made red velvet cake and pumpkin muffins in this pan. I used Baker's Joy. I had absolutely no problem with getting them out with just the flick of a knife along the side of each one, and they had perfect definition. This pan makes great little two bite cakes/muffins which are easy for taking to work or anywhere you lack plates & forks for eating cake.

This is a very cute baking pan. The patterns are so beautiful it is hard to resist.But you would have to use the right batter with this pan. Otherwise the cakes will stick.So far I've tried baking banana muffins and madelines in this pan. Unfortunately the fine details do not show well with the lighter muffin batter. But the muffins came off the pan easily.As for the madelines, only a few of them came off the pan without breaking. And the patterns are not very crisp, though a bit better than the muffins. I confess I did not use vegetable oil spray before baking. So I'll try again with vegetable oil and see how it turns out. Since I usually bake lighter cakes, I hate to say it but maybe this gorgeous pan just doesn't suit my needs. If you bake richer cakes, this pan would work better like other users have suggested.One concern I have with baking with this pan, is that the cakes are small so when the crust are all hardened for the pattern, the inside may get a bit on the dry side. But since they are so cute, who would care much about that little flaw, right?! =)

If there's anything I hate to do, its clean out a dirty, sticky microwave. The Nordic Ware 11-in Microwave Plate Cover handles the spits and spatters,and most of the problems to ease this dirty task. The product is sturdy, has clean design and is very easy to use. I've had others that actually melt in the M'wave heat. I wish the edge of this were a bit wider so it could manage the occasional larger platter, but that's the only wish-list for this little dandy.

I am very happy with the impressed comments of my friends after making the raspberry truffle recipe that came with the pan. After reading the other reviews about release problems, I was a little apprehensive. However, I had no problems getting out most of the chocolates. I didn't coat the pan at all before adding the chocolate. The last five minutes I put the pan in the freezer because I was going to be late for the party. To get the chocolates out, I put down a sheet of wax paper and simply banged the pan upside-down onto the table. The pan is cast-iron aluminum and a bit heavy, so I didn't need to use much force, I just let gravity do the work. About half came out perfectly. I collected those, and then banged the pan again. A third firm tap got the last 3 out, though the last one did fall apart, probably because I didn't coat the sides with chocolate very well. All in all I was very happy. I had to substitute in their recipe though, and used pommegranate juice instead of raspberry extract because I couldn't find any. I also ended up with too much ganache, so I ended up hand rolling and dipping those to keep. I'm glad I did, since all of the molded truffles got eaten at the party! The recipe was very delicious and the chocolates were gorgeous!

My sons love these designs! Very detailed and I haven't any issues with getting them to come out in one piece as long as I thoroughly coat the pan with nonstick spray. Soak the pan and use a long bristle brush afterwards for easy clean up in the tight crevices.

This thing is durable and works as advertised. No more splatters on the sides and top of the microwave. My only complaint is that it could be a little taller- it really won't work for bowls unless you can rest it on the edge. It also doesn't work with standard-size square plates, but it is perfect for round plates.

I study insects for a living and one of my colleagues made me birthday cupcakes with this cake pan. They were so adorable! He didn't even have time to decorate them, but the high quality of the pan created just the right browning effect to make the shapes come alive. They were a huge hit! Apparently the pan comes with its own cake mix recipe that works really well with the pan and also tastes delicious!I am buying one of these cake pans for my cousin for Christmas and I just received an Amazon gift certificate, so I might even splurge for one of my own! The only problem with this cake pan is that my daughter's preschool class enjoyed her birthday bugcakes SO much, their teacher has asked me to make the cakes again. Easy to use Makes perfect eggs. It takes a little practice to get the right microwave timing - mine was 13 minutes. I tried 7 min but eggs were runny. Need a pad to remove from microwave - very hot. This one is simple easy to use and clean up and very cheap.

The Nordic Ware Platinum pans are lifetime pans that you'll pass on someday! This BUG pan is the cutest ever! Some tips I got from a PRO: 1. heat the pan as you pre heat the oven, then spray it while its HOT and fill it. 2. 1/3 cup batter per bug is plenty. 3. To make the bottoms flat, lay a knife down on the pan, before you remove the cakes, and slide it thru the bottom of the cake, removing the hump. 4. Cool cakes in pan 10 min then pour out on parchment paper. 5. Use a hotter oven (375) and a little shorter time to get the most definition of the bugs. 6. Never use soap on the pan, or put it in the dishwasher, just rinse it while its hot and set in the warm oven to dry. The Platinum Series gives you PERFECT release of baked goods and NEVER needs scrubbing. (I wrote these tips down because they work soooo well, and these top of the line pans deserve a little extra care.) I buy the Platinum pans as they are issued and some are over 10 years old and still are perfect!

I had owned this for a few years and been very happy with it when a massive EGGSPLOSION happened last night. I heard a boom, went into the kitchen, and saw that the microwave door was open and there was mostly-cooked egg all over the inside of the microwave. So, I had to throw out the whole contraption and spent the next hour cleaning the microwave and coping with the smell. I gave this product two stars instead of one since I had liked it so much until this happened. Too bad...

We were very happy with this product initially (it made awesome hard-boiled eggs), but after a while eggs started exploding. I am talking about a real explosion with the microwave door blasting open and egg splattered all over the kitchen -- my spouse is incidentally cleaning up the latest (and last) of such incident.Given the simplicity of the contraption, how can this happen? Premature plastic aging?

The whole egg cooker will not screw together properly. It keeps coming open. Just another gimmick.

This little device cooks white eggs fully without the crumbly effect you get when you boil them in water and try to peel off the shell. They peel just great! The only time I've has a probelm is when the egg shell is cracked to begin with. They sometimes blow the top of the plastic egg off the device. But never a mess in the microwave since the egg contains any potential mess! Just put in 4 eggs and drop an english in the toaster and less than ten minutes later you have a great no fuss no mess breakfast. Worth their weight in gold!

Oh my God! If you want to impress your guests this pan is for you. The baked cake is so beautiful you don't want to cut into it. You just want to stare at it, and you baked it, WOW! The attached receipe is delicious. I used my French press to make strong coffee since I didn't have espresso powder and it was great. You will be happy with this bundt pan.

This mum bundt cake pan is simply spectacular. With very little effort it looks like great effort was taken. Perfect for use during Spring and Easter. Pan preparation is the most important step so take a few minutes and do it right. Spray liberally with a cooking spray that contains flour like Bakers Joy then turn the pan upside down on a paper towel to drain out the excess. The another vital step is, once the cake is finished baking, let it cool upright in the pan 10-15 minutes (no shorter or longer) before turning the cake out onto a plate. And, if you want the detail to really pop, use a light cake (yellow, white, spice, etc.) with a very thick batter -- there are many bundt cake recipes on the internet. If you use a cake mix without altering it for the bundt pan, some detail will be lost - so check for cake mix adaptations on the internet. It looks spectacular with just a little powdered sugar dusted over the details. I use these style pans all the time (at least weekly) and have never had a cake stick -- but those two steps at the beginning and end of the process will help success.

I LOOOVE this cookware soo much and have used it every day since I received it. My sister stopped by one morning, and I was using the set to make breakfast for my daughter and niece, and saw that this set is so easy to use that the girls ages 10 and 12 could even make their own eggs and bacon(turkey) without worry. It was alot of fun for them to do. The cleanup is done within minutes, just rinse the items used in hot water and a quick wipe with a soapy sponge...DONE. So glad I saw this! REALLY GREAT!!

This popcorn maker creates the best buttered popcorn around. We have made popcorn almost every night since we got this set. I think the popper is our favorite piece. We have used the poacher, but it takes a bit of practice to get the eggs just right. This would be a great gift for a newlywed couple, a dorm room or a single person on their own.

I used to use the omelette and egg poacher cooker at a small coffee shop to sell breakfast items. This thing works so well that I bought my own to use at home. I haven't used the popcorn and bacon/sausage cooker but the egg cookers cook wonderfully in the microwave. Nice and thick material which makes this set durable!

This is a beautiful pan; the cakes are gorgeous plain or dipped in a little ganache. I love the thick aluminum. It holds heat well and the light color seems to help prevent overbrowning. For my first batch, I used a rich yellow cake batter. I brushed the pan with a Crisco and filled each shell about 70%. The cakes came out nicely browned in about 13 minutes at 350, and released from the pan easily.

I was unsure whether to prep this mold in some way before pouring the melted chocolate in so I just tried it without anything added, threw it in the freezer for about 10 minutes and then tapped on the counter once, turned over and the chocolates all popped out beautifully. Very easy to use and co-workers extremely impressed with the chocolates I brought into work. I regretted paying the money for this mold at the time, but after seeing how the candy turned out I decided it was one of the best buys I ever made.

I received this tea cake pan as a Christmas present and tried it with my favorite bundt cake recipe. It works beautifully! I oiled/floured (pam with flour is fine) and filled each section only half full. My first batch came out fine, but it was obvious that 3/4 full was too full. You want your cake mix to rise just to the top of the mold and not over to make the prettiest cakes. I found that baking the cakes for about 13 minutes was just right. Powdered sugar on the tops of the cakes brought out the designs and made my little tea cakes look quite elegant. I think this pan turns out beautiful bite-sized cakes, that would be lovely to take to a potluck, an at-home tea, or a bake sale, or for just an alternative to cookies at home. The pan makes 30 cakes in varying shapes (flowers, bundt, stars, hearts, etc) and I filled the pan nearly 3 times before using all the batter. I'm sure that this will also make a wonderful chocolate mold as well, and I plan to try that too, (maybe for valentines day), but until then, I have a few more recipes to try in it and a group of hungry co-workers to impress.....If you already make large bundts, or have the individual sizes, this would make a welcome addition for that

They were tiny, golden and delicious but they were not crispy like a waffle should be. Not getting the crispy part made me decide to send the waffle griddle back. When I made the first batch, they really were golden and crispy on one side but after turning them over, they deflated and turned limp. I was not happy. I know now why we have waffle irons that cook the waffles on both sides at the same time. Sorry to say the person who invented this griddle didn't do their homework.

I normally don't like waffles because they are often hard and crispy, but these were not. The first time I used the pan I used too much batter and they ran together but if you actually follow the directions and measure 2 Tbsp. in each slot it really, really works. The Product Description says that the pan makes 20 cakes and has a 10 cup capacity, meaning that each cake is 1/2 cup. This is WRONG. The pan makes 20 cakes, each a 1/10th cup size. That means the entire pan has a 2 cup capacity!!! If you're expecting to make more than bite-sized cakes this is NOT the pan for you. These cakes are TINY. Otherwise the pan is the usual heavy duty solid Noric ware heavy cast aluminum pan with a non-stick surface. There are 4 different pretty flower cake designs. Unfortunately the one I received had a weird black residue on the pan that didn't come off.

Excellent pan, perfect size for mini-pancakes. This is a good sturdy pan that is fun to use and easy to clean. Making seven silver dollar pancakes at once is definitely easier with this pan.

I returned this pan as walmart had it at half the price at Christmas time. As for the pan it is beautiful and makes a lovely cake. I like the nordic ware 6 mini cake muffin pans the work well if you use the spray pan coating with the flour added.

For many years I owned the basic fluted Nordic Ware bundt pan. Occasionally I made a rich pound cake and then returned the pan to its place in the cabinet not giving the matter much thought. Then a few years ago I saw this Christmas Wreath pan in a gourmet cooking shop. I'm not sure if it was the intricacy of the design or the obvious quality but I had to have it and as other beautiful designs are created by Nordic Ware, they are added to my bundt pan collection. Using a pan like this makes baking in a plain round or rectangle seems unnecessarily bland. This pan produces gorgeous cakes that look simply stunning. No additional decorating is needed, except for a sprinkle of powdered sugar to bring out the details. Begin by spraying the pan liberally with a baking spray that contains flour, like baker's joy, then turn the pan upside down and let it drain over paper towels while preparing the cake. Use a thick batter either from scratch or alter a cake mix. The included recipe is great and there are are many recipes on the Internet and some good cookbooks to help, but one simple method when using a mix is to substitute the water for plain yogurt or sour cream (non-fat work fine, too) and add an extra egg (or two egg whites). Light colored batters show off the detail in but anything will look nice. Any additions to the batter should be small, like mini-chocolate chips, citrus zest, poppy seeds or finely chopped nuts so they don't sink to the bottom of the cake mold and ruin the design.The pan should be filled 2/3 full of batter to ensure the entire design of the pan is included in the finished cake. My first attempt using this pan only had the batter reaching slightly above the half-way point, so when it finished baking the batter never rose fully to incorporate all the details of the bottom edge. I baked Ina Garten's Lemon Cake in this pan for the Holidays and it was not only a gorgeous cake it was delicious..The cake came right out of the pan and I brushed the glaze on with a wide pastry brush...I own many many nordicware pans and this is one of my very favorites. In case your wondering..the pan is large but the cake recipe from Food Network was adequate to make a nice cake without doubling the recipe!...I also brushed the pan with shortning prior to flouring it and lowered the oven temp. to 325 Degrees and it came out a golden brown,just like the picture. If you do a lot of baking...this is a pan to add to your collection!..Thanks Amazon.

I love making special cakes for holidays, and this was special. It came out a little dark but that was not the pan's fault. Anyway, with a little green and red sprinkles and a little icing, it was a treat. I am going to make several for gifts this Christmas. Oh, the pan was easy to handle and cleaned up fine.

I used this in conjunction with the large castle cake pan to make a village for my daughter's first birthday-these cakes came out great and are the perfect size to create a cute little Princess Village!! I haven't tried a regular cake mix in this pan, I used a bundt cake recipe and that makes the cakes come out cleanly and very evenly cooked. I did spray the pan with Pan, which the instructions say you don't need to do, but better safe than sorry! On a recipe note, they are the perfect size to put fruit or whipped cream in the centers and that makes the cakes taste even better!!!

I read the reviews prior to using this pan and was quite concerned. I went to the Nordic Ware website and used their suggestion: I generously brushed shortening on the pans, and sprinkled with Wondra flour, dumping out the excess flour in the sink - no sticking at all. I used a box cake mix and listened to one reviewer who said a box cake mix would only make two cakelettes - so I made the mistake of using TWO box cake mixes, and had enough for six cakelettes, plus 24 cupcakes, and some cake mix went down the drain! One box cake mix is more than enough for six cakelettes. I think a firmer cake would give a better looking cake, the box mix was too soft for decorating, but it was fun to give the pan a try. With a box mix your best bet is strawberries and whipped cream. I will definitely use this pan again. I have the large castle pan too and I love it. I've always made the recipe that came with the pan when I use the large castle pan, maybe next time I will try that recipe for the cakelettes. Check out the Nordic Ware website for recipes.

I love this pan! I got this pan to use for my daughters 1st birthday party, I thought this way all the kids would be able to have their own cake:) I used the recipe that came on the package. Very easy to make, it tasted great and went well with cream cheese frosting. I put the frosting on the bottom of the castle cakelettes. I do recommend NOT using ANY baking spray or flour spray. Anything with any kind of oil in it will turn the out side of the cakes dark brown, they taste fine just look awful. I dusted the inside of the pan with flour and they turned out PERFECTLY... check out the picture:)

I used this pan for a small get-together with 5 year olds. They absolutely loved it. I put a dollop of frosting on top, some light sprinkles, and they oooohed and ahhhed for some time before eating the little cakes. You have to use a good flour-oil spray, such as Baker's Joy, maybe even more than recommended in the little nooks and crannies. This helps with inverting the pan as well as getting the best detail possible. Use the recipe included on the label for guidelines. I believe 1/2 of prepared boxed cake mix filled one pan. Allow for more than ample time for the cakes to cool before inverting them.

The pan itself is adorable and easy to use. The recipe that came with it however is a different story....yuck! I found another recipe online that was delicious! If they could improve the recipe on that comes with the pan, it would be 5 star!

This is a great product! The beehive cake I baked came out so easily and looks really nice! All I have to do is to turn the pan upside down and the cakes just came out effortless.Do remember to grease and flour the pan before pouring the batter in. It is also very easy to wash afterward. This is my first Nordic Ware, I will be looking to buy some other Nordic Ware product if they are all great like this beehive pan!

I bought one of this pan from a discount store and it is a wonderful pan, so I ordered a second from Amazon. I've used them several times and they still look brand new. They are very heavy and will not warp. Nothing has stuck at all, everything has popped right out and cleaning it is easier than the nonstick pans I've used in the past. Baked items brown beautifully, and I am simply delighted with these pans. I'm actually thinking of ordering the matching cake pans even though I just bought new nonstick ones, because these pans will definitely last longer and are healthier to use. The wife picked this muffin pan. She is familiar with the Nordic Ware name and reputation. We haven't been let down.The pan is sturdy and well built. No sharp edges or seams. According to the wife it cleans quite easily. This is pan is quite the bargain......p.s. I lied. I picked out the pan. Our old muffin pan was complete junk...hence bad muffins. I ordered this pan and sort of stuck in the cabinet one day. I played ignorant. Within the next few days I had warm blueberry muffins right out of the oven. OMG! I thought I died! YUM-O! This pan has a nice weight and finish. Cleaned well. Definitely a better grade of pan than I had been using. With all the controversy regarding the safety of nonstick pan coatings, this is a better alternative.

Though this pan was quite expensive, I have been pretty delighted with it. It is very well made, solid and heavy. The details of the complex architectural shapes come across perfectly in the cakes I have made. When sprinkled with confectioners' sugar, the cakes take on the appearance of a cathedral dusted with snow. Quite magical.

Love this pan. My mom gave it to me and I use it all the time and I get many compliments. Others have told me they have pans like this and can't get them out of the pan or the detail is not very good, they did not have this brand of pan either. The cakes turn out beautifully. I use Baker's Joy in my pans and there is never any sticking. I wash mine by hand and you do have to get down in all the indentations but it is worth it when you are getting all the compliments.

The Cathedral Bundt Pan is heavy and strong, makes for good even temperature while baking. Because of it's detail I just pop it in the dishwasher to clean it--it comes out 100% clean every time. It makes a very impressive cake that always gets a lot of compliments. I like to use it for Christmas, Easter, church functions and wakes--it's just the thing.

My sister bought me these years ago as a gift and they quickly became my very favorite baking sheets. They have gotten so much use and still look great. The lids are sturdy and strong and have traveled to every picnic or family dinner without cracking. The silpat sheets are a little large for them but you'd be hard pressed to find a bigger cookie or baking sheet with sides on it, so I cut the silpat a tiny bit. These are the baking sheets I would start my daughters off with or give as gifts because they will last forever, can't rust, are heavy aluminum and can be scrubbed without damaging them,and are a nice big size that we need when baking.

I purchased two of these because I liked the idea of stacking them for storage and travel. I received one in perfect condition and one with a cracked lid. I sent the damaged one back and Amazon sent me another one with a cracked lid. This happened two more times until Amazon confessed the next one will probably be cracked too, so they issued me a refund. From where the lids were cracked and the way they were packaged (in paper), I suspect they were damaged in transit. This transaction was annoying and time consuming. I finally found another one in a local retail store. It does not appear that the lids are easily cracked, so I don't believe I'll have trouble in the future with broken lids unless I drop it when attached to the pan. I paid $3 more than the current selling price of $12 which only added to my annoyance with only 5 days between when I ordered and when the price changed. Product arrived on time. Only used the pan twice both times cakes came out perfect. Used Pam Baking spray and the cakes just slid out of the pan. Nothing stuck to the pan and the clean up was easy.

I own four Bundt pans, and this is my least favorite. Even though it has the same capacity as two of my other pans (10 cups), the cakes from this pan look smaller and more compact. The detail on the cake is lovely, but the pan is a pain in the neck to clean. The narrowness of the ridges trap cake crumb, Baker's Joy, non-stick spray, and flour - I have not been able to break the code of cleaning this pan easily. My other pans make just as pretty a cake, and do not leave me with any cleaning headaches.

Of all the Nordicware I've purchased, this one is probably my favorite. It's so much more versatile that just a regular cake pan, mainly because you can either bake a small cake in it, or use it as a bread pan as I normally do. The only trouble you might have with this guy is getting all the stuff out of the crevices. Also, be SURE to tap it on the counter before baking to get out the air holes in the top. Otherwise, it will look like your pumpkin patch has been infested with worm holes! Or, if you have a bunch of little boys to whom you are serving this, they'll think the worm holes are cool! :) anyway, you can't go wrong with this pan - they even include a recipe. This pan was offered by Williams Sonoma last year and now this year, it's more affordable for all of us. Highly, highly recommend!

Cute novelty pan, but do not recomend for the 3D version cake. I used this for Thanksgiving and made the pumpkin cake recipe that came with the pan, it was good but had to bake a lot longer than recomended, and the head of the turkey over cooked and would not put together for the 3D version cake. I was dissapointed in this. I also put the turkey dressing in this pan and baked it, it was a hit for our Thanksgiving dinner. So you might want to try it for other things than the 3D cake. Cornbread would be cute! I did find it for half the price that was on Amazon so sent it back. You might want to shop around.
