My opinion is exactly opposite of B. Atlas'. I'm on Day 5 of a Master Cleanse, drinking lemonade made with Grade B maple syrup and cayenne pepper. I'd tried Coombs before, and thought it was fine, but decided to try Highland next. Ordered Coombs again last week because it was cheaper this time. In a side by side taste test just now, I much preferred Highland for its lighter, less sweet, straightforward Grade B flavor. In comparison, Coombs was a prettier amber color than Highland, but too sweet and with a heavy burnt caramel taste. To my surprise, the caramel doesn't show through in the lemonade, but the maple taste doesn't really either. Though Highland should definitely take packing lessons from Coombs, I'll order it again. Now to get through these two jugs of Coombs first...

We usually get our grade B maple syrup from Trader Joe's, but this seems to be equal if not better quality. Highly recommended!!

Like the other reviews above, the maple syrup is great. Amazon, unfortunately dropped the ball on service.The cap on the container was NOT screwed on properly andthus leaking syrup. Common sense would dictate unscrewingand rescrewing the cap properly before shipping.The amazon solution - wrap the box leaking syprup in aplastic bag and ship away.The one star is for the service, not the product.

Has a nice strong maple flavor.I agree with another reviewer that it is a little sweeter than other Grade B syrups.

This is good stuff. I really splurge on this for myself. Makes up for the gluten free pancakes I have to eat.

In the interim between ordering this, and it's arrival, I purchased an organic syrup at the local store. So my expectations were low. This Highland Sugarworks product truly is a marvel. Every drop is beyond comprehension. The thick rich delicious maple blends with something deeper, and richer almost smokey. Wow - what a super incredible treat. I actually wake up quicker knowing that a little Highland Sugarworks is soon to follow. I can't believe it's organic. An incredible home run! This is one of the finest products (organic or otherwise) that I have ever eaten in any category. Thank You.

I bought this for doing the Master Cleanser. Alas, this was not the cleanse for me and I only lasted about 18 hours on it.However, I discovered this wonderful syrup! It tastes great!

I was more than a little concerned about packaging and possible leakage as some have reported, but I needed a rather large quantity of maple syrup for a special recipe, and the price for this amount was much better than what I could get locally, so I decided to risk it. Thankfully the package arrived very quickly, and although the jugs were lying on their side with only the plastic air pillows (?), there was no leaking or mess of any kind. And by the way, the syrup is most yummy, can't wait to make my recipe, and I suspect I will be ordering more for my waffles, etc.

The Syrup is very good and I would recommend it to anyone, however the package in which it was shiped in, did not protect the product from the trip and one of the jugs of syrup was compromised.

I received my package of 2 quarts of Highland Sugarworks Maple Syrup. It is a dark syrup and I did not know it was grade A until I read it on the containers. It arrived in a timely manner. When I opened the package, one of the jugs was leaking, as the seal was not tight. I am happy with this product, but I prefer Grade B Dark Amber, as it has a stronger maple flavor.EW - Miami, FL

We had picked up some local Connecticut syrup while visiting friends last year. We just couldn't go back diluted stuff at the grocery store after finishing the last of our Connecticut syrup.Highland Sugarworks has a rich, dark maple favor. A little goes a long way. We are going to place another order.

Ny State allows some dilution, Canada even more look for Vermont if you want pure. This is my third order ove 18 months.

Highland Sugarworks Maple Syrup, Medium Amber, 32 Ounce JugMy lady and I have long looked for a middle ground between Grade A and Grade B maple syrup, with little success until now. We find Grade A a little too refined and generally prefer the Grade B for its more raw flavor and thicker consistency, but we do like the clarity of Grade A. This maple nectar is the best of both: rich, meady flavor AND the perfect degree of refinement. A perfect blend. Go for it.

I grew up in Vermont and my grandparents still make/bottle maple syrup every year so I know a thing or two about this stuff. I got this when it was on sale. Personally, I like the Medium Amber. It's not as thick as Dark, and the Light is almost like water. Grade A is best for Pancakes and French Toast. Grade B is better for Baking and putting on top of Ice Cream. I ordered this and it arrived in 2 days via Amazon Prime. The product is great.

Before you order this, check the prices at your local grocery store. I assumed with the subscription discount it was a bargain. It isn't. Even the most expensive grocery store in my area carries the same product for less!

This good maple syrup, in medium amber, the most popular grade. It's from Vermont, which has slightly more stringent standards about maple syrup density. Thus I was surprised that this Highland Sugarworks syrup was weaker than the L.L. Bean syrup I was about to run out of. But reading the label provides a clue to my disappointment. It's labeled

My kids love pancakes, so I make them every weekend. What could be simpler - it's just flour, milk, eggs, salt and baking powder, right? Why would anyone in their right mind buy pancake mix?A friend gave us this pancake mix for Christmas, so I smiled politely and said thank you. Then I gave it a try - and was surprised. The results are significantly lighter, fluffier and tastier than my home-made efforts. I haven't opened the accompanying syrup yet as I have an open bottle to finish first, but maple syrup is maple syrup ... isn't it?

First of all, I'm not sure I got what I paid for. There's a paper label stuck over the imprinted label on the can....two different companies....that was odd.Second of all...I was very disappointed. NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER! I had to open 4 cans to use in a recipe, and you flat out cannot taste the blueberries...PERIOD!

If you're searching for a good, no sugar added blueberry for use in baking, mixing in a smoothie or with your yogurt, you can't go wrong with these.

These are the small BB-sized blueberries you've been looking for.. great for pancakes and baking. Plus, your cook friends will appreciate a can or two from your stash.Note: the date on the bottom of each can is the packing date; Deb at Highland Sugarworks kindly told me that the bluberries should be good out to three years from that date.Yum!!

Great value for a delicious staple. Perfect for muffins or just adding to cereal.

Don't recommend this mix if you like denser waffles.The thin batter does not have much affect on the outcome with pancakes. However, waffles came out airy and crispy in my iron (VillaWare Classic Round). Waffles were much less dense than any I have made from scratch, including ones made with egg whites beaten to stiff peaks.

Highland Sugarworks Organic Buttermilk Pancake Mix, 16-Ounce Canister (Pack of 4)This product is very good. It works well with berries and other things we have added in. It is not very sweet and is a bit on the runny side. It stores well if you make a big batch and put the left over in the fridge.
