I purchased this product at my local Home Depot for $42.00 including tax of 6%.

The only comparison I have for this is a Harbor Freight special, which with every use tries to catch my hand in the gears (the Harbor Freight versin) because I have to manually set the ratchet portion with every crank.That said, I had a 2 ton version of this, borrowed from my dad, and liked it so much I went searching for this manufacturer.This 3-ton is heavy duty and works great.

I hoisted a 700 lbs furnace from a basement to the first floor through an opening in the floor with this thing. It worked like a charm.

I'm not an especially large or strong guy but using this Puller one handed I managed to bend the handle sideways 90 degrees. It should be stronger than that.

In the product description for this tool it clearly states,

I thought the product worked very well. It was really helpful in buttoning up short sections of fence where there wasn't a good anchor for a come-along. It can't fully replace a streching bar and come-along but it was very handy to have. The way the slots are angled, it keeps the tension bar from twisting when you pull the fence tight. It worked very well.
